Bright futures ahead as Northolt High School students embark on their next chapter

Northolt High School is delighted to announce its latest GCSE results, celebrating the exceptional performances of many students and impressive achievements across a range of subjects.

Among the standout performances were impressive results in Further Maths, where 93% of students achieved grades 5-9 and 40% 7-9; and in French, where 80% of students achieved grades 5-9 and 43% 7-9. Similarly the Sciences saw remarkable successes, with 92% attaining grades 5-9 in Biology, 88% in Chemistry and 92% in Physics. Significant improvements have also been seen in English Literature and Computer Science.

Argasan, one of the school’s top achievers, excelled by securing 4 grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, alongside impressive grades of 88666 in English Language, English Literature, French, History and PE. The former Greenwood Primary School pupil aspires to study Medicine at the University of Cambridge and is eager to continue her studies in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at A Level from September.

Maleeka joined Northolt in Year 9 having moved from overseas and achieved an impressive 998888876 in her core subjects, History, Arabic and Photography, along with a Merit in BTEC Drama. Maleeka praises the school for providing her with the support and motivation to surpass her expectations. She hopes to pursue a career in optometry and is excited to join Northolt High School Sixth Form to study Biology, Maths and Physics.

Hamza, who also joined Northolt in Year 9 having moved from overseas, commends the school’s welcoming environment for helping him settle in quickly. He achieved fantastic results with 988877665 in his GCSEs, including Computer Science, Geography, 3D Design and Business. With dreams of setting up his own business in the future, Hamza is grateful to his teachers for pushing him to achieve his potential.

Zoya is eager to continue her Biology, Chemistry and Maths studies at A Level after securing an excellent set of grades, including 999 in Combined Science and Mathematics, and 68776 in English Language, English Literature, History, Art and Photography. She reflects: “I’ve made so many friends and memories at Northolt while growing as a person and discovering my true potential.”

Former Greenwood Primary School pupil, Marika was delighted to open her results to discover she had achieved 9887665554 in her GCSEs, including a 9 in Polish. Her passion for Art blossomed during her time at Northolt, and she is grateful to the school for nurturing her talent, so much so that she now hopes to pursue a career in the creative industry.

Maahi is one step closer to achieving her dream of studying Medicine or Pharmaceutical Science at UCL after obtaining an incredible set of results: 888887776. She is looking forward to studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths at A level from September and comments: “I couldn’t have achieved what I have today without Northolt. The school is the reason I’ve grown so much.”

The school is also pleased with the number of students choosing to continue their studies at Northolt High School Sixth Form where they will have the opportunity to build on their GCSE successes. Students will pursue A Levels or BTEC qualifications in their chosen subjects, with some joining the Sixth Form’s unique sports programmes, where they can train professionally in football, volleyball or basketball while completing their academic studies.

Looking ahead, Northolt High School is excited to announce the upcoming completion of its new state-of-the-art building in the academic year 2025/26. This new facility will provide cutting-edge resources and an enhanced learning environment, setting the stage for the school’s re-launch under its new name, Islip Manor High School.
