Muhammed secured a phenomenal AAA in A Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology and is delighted to have secured a place at The University of Southampton to study Medicine. His journey through Northolt has been a testament to his hard work, resilience and perseverance.

Henry has earned the highest possible grade of D*D*D* in the BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport. This impressive achievement has secured Henry a place at the renowned University College London (UCL) to study Psychology with Education, whilst also continuing his volleyball career at London Polonia Volleyball.
Henry joined Northolt High School in Year 12 as part of the Future Stars programme for aspiring student athletes. He thrived throughout his studies while competing at an elite level. Henry played with the Pro Volleyball team and alongside professional senior men's players with IBB London Polonia Volleyball team in the Volleyball Super League (the highest level of Senior Men’s Volleyball in the country!). Henry is also part of the England National team and has competed internationally throughout his studies.

Rim excelled in her BTEC Applied Science course, earning an impressive D*D*D. She is excited to start her next chapter at her first choice university, Kingston, to study Pharmacy. Her journey at Northolt High School, which began in Year 7, has been deeply personal, with her siblings sharing in this educational experience too.
“I was inspired by my siblings’ achievements and am thrilled with my results today. I hope I can do the same and motivate my younger siblings who are still at the school. I believe I have achieved what I have thanks to the incredible support from my teachers, especially Miss Yearly. The mock exams, detailed feedback, after-school study sessions, and guidance with personal statements and UCAS applications have all helped me get where I am. The school has truly been a second home to me.”
Oliwier achieved D*DD in his BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport, a testament to his determination and the support he received from the Future Stars programme at Northolt High School Sixth Form. His academic success has earned him a scholarship to study English in America while pursuing his passion for volleyball.
“Being part of the Future Stars programme allowed me to continue training in volleyball while also completing my studies. This Sixth Form here is a fantastic place, with this unique sports programme, supportive environment, experienced teachers and array of extra-curricular opportunities available. My advice to younger students is to stay disciplined and work hard to achieve your goals. The balance between sports and academics here is well managed, setting you up for success on both fronts."
Tom's impressive results of D*DD in his Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport have paved the way for his acceptance at the University of Nottingham to study Engineering. His time at Northolt High School Sixth Form was enriched by the Future Stars programme, which allowed him to combine his passion for volleyball with his academic pursuits.
“The Sixth Form's Future Stars programme attracted me because it allowed me to train and play volleyball while studying. The experience here has been amazing, and the support from teachers has been second to none. The programme taught me the importance of time management and discipline, skills that will be invaluable in my Engineering studies and future career."
Shifa's ambition to become a Solicitor is now within reach after she achieved DDD in BTEC Applied Science and secured a place to study Law at City, University of London. Her journey at Northolt High School Sixth Form has been transformative, providing her with the confidence and skills needed to pursue her dreams.
“I would recommend Northolt because of the extraordinary teachers and staff who have had a big impact on my learning. The supportive environment here has been a refreshing shift from my old school. I am so glad I joined. My advice to younger students is to work hard and focus on achieving your best, but remember, grades don’t define you. Aspiring Optometrist, Mudasar achieved D*DD in his BTEC Applied Science studies and is excited to attend the University of Plymouth in September. He believes his time at Northolt High School Sixth Form has been instrumental in shaping his future.
“During my time at Northolt, I have developed key life skills such as time management and independence. The smaller class sizes at the Sixth Form, compared to college, mean you get personalised attention, along with more discipline and structure. You also have more privileges and extracurricular opportunities, like UCAS trips. My advice to younger students is to take Year 12 seriously - it makes your final year a little bit easier.”
Yaaji’s acceptance at Bangor University to study Marine Biology and Zoology is a dream come true for someone passionate about animal conservation. His A Level results reflect his commitment to his studies and the unwavering support he received at Northolt High School Sixth Form.
“The teachers here are extremely supportive and always make sure we achieve our very best. I am very grateful to all of them. My advice to younger students is to not waste your time - put your head down early and study as much as you can. I’ve always dreamt of working with animals to protect endangered species, and I am excited to see where this journey leads next. The foundation I’ve built here will undoubtedly help me make a difference in the world."
Meraj is off to study Optometry at the University of Plymouth in September after securing a stellar D*DD in BTEC Applied Science. He credits the exceptional Science offering at Northolt High School Sixth Form for his success and is grateful to his teachers for pushing him to excel.
“I believe the Sixth Form here is a better experience than if I were to attend college, especially because of the personalised support and attention you receive from specialist teachers. You are pushed to achieve well and given lots of resources, extra work and opportunities beyond the classroom. My advice to younger students is to try harder in Year 12 - it really is important!”
Abhi, who sees a future in Real Estate or 3D Design, is eagerly anticipating his future studies in Building Surveying at the University of Reading. He attained an exceptional D*D*D in BTEC Applied Science.
“My time here has definitely made me more independent and ready for my next step at university. I would advise younger students to keep their heads down, work hard and never give up. The teachers here at Northolt are highly specialised, and I am so grateful for all the knowledge, support and guidance they have imparted on me.”
