Student Council

 

Our Student Council 

Northolt High Student Council is a group of elected student representatives who work together to make an impact within the school. They are the voice of the students in school. They discuss school-wide issues, plan events, help make important decisions and feedback to school leaders to influence change. 

Student Councils work to:
                    
1. PROMOTE CITIZENSHIP    2. PROMOTE SCHOLARSHIP     3. PROMOTE LEADERSHIP            4. PROMOTE CULTURAL VALUES
 

How do students become part of the Student Council?

Students who are interested in helping others in the community and wish to make the school a better place would be wonderful candidates to take part in the student council as representatives! Students who are interested must:
  • be a good role model 
  • demonstrate leadership qualities
  • maintain good attendance & punctuality
  • maintain and promote the school values of Pride, Respect & Courage 

 

There is a two stage application process annually in order to elect the Northolt High Student Council.
 

Stage 1: Application form
Students must fill out an application form that will be used to determine eligibility for the role. 

Stage 2: Presentation
Students give a formal presentation to their tutor group explaining why they will be an excellent candidate. Tutor groups will then vote for their representatives.
