Our Student Council
Northolt High Student Council is a group of elected student representatives who work together to make an impact within the school. They are the voice of the students in school. They discuss school-wide issues, plan events, help make important decisions and feedback to school leaders to influence change.
Student Councils work to:
1. PROMOTE CITIZENSHIP 2. PROMOTE SCHOLARSHIP 3. PROMOTE LEADERSHIP 4. PROMOTE CULTURAL VALUES
How do students become part of the Student Council?
- be a good role model
- demonstrate leadership qualities
- maintain good attendance & punctuality
- maintain and promote the school values of Pride, Respect & Courage
There is a two stage application process annually in order to elect the Northolt High Student Council.
Stage 1: Application form
Students must fill out an application form that will be used to determine eligibility for the role.
Stage 2: Presentation
Students give a formal presentation to their tutor group explaining why they will be an excellent candidate. Tutor groups will then vote for their representatives.
