To mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Bergen Belsen concentration camp, we were lucky to be able to offer two of our sixth form students the opportunity to take part in the Belsen Project. The students attended seminars and reflection sessions as well as visiting the site of the Belsen camp to learn more about what happened there. A key part of the experience was offering them the opportunity to consider the importance of remembrance for today's young people. We are very grateful to the Belsen Project for providing us with this opportunity, and also to Ms Yearley for giving up her time to accompany our sixth form students on this visit.
